Pushkin Park
Mexico City, Mexico (2016)
Participation as part of the Public Space Authority of Mexico City.
The urban intervention consisted in the renewal of 19,000 sqm of public space that had been neglected and fragmented. In addition, the park had become a place for informal vendors, and for illicit and anti-social activities.
Through a comprehensive redesign, new pedestrian walkways, as well as sport and leisure areas for diverse age ranges were created. The park renewal allowed for a completely different urban experience in this emblematic space of La Roma neighborhood.
